Before we begin…

Let’s look at The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Assessment.

This is an extremely useful tool for volunteers, and - well - everyone. Why? Because it can help you understand your unique strengths and preferences, enabling you to choose roles, projects, courses and jobs that truly suit you. Understanding your ‘type’ can support your personal and professional growth, boost satisfaction in voluntary and paid work, support healthy relationships and enhance self-awareness. The test is free, and is only a recommendation for you - note that it is not a requirement.

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a reflective self-assessment that can help you explore how you see the world and make choices. It reveals your natural preferences across four key areas: 1) How you get your mental energy; 2) How you process information; 3) How you make decisions; 4) How much structure you need in your life.

By exploring these aspects of yourself, the MBTI self-assessment will not only help you understand more about who you are, but it will also reveal ways through which you can make meaningful contributions - whether that be in your everyday life, volunteering, or community involvement. It’s a personal journey of self-discovery that will help to highlight your strengths, and will guide you toward fulfilling and impactful ways that you can truly make a difference.
